2025 Building Tour Highlight: Limberlost Place

On September 9th last year, BSAO members toured George Brown College’s Limberlost Place campus, a groundbreaking 10-storey exposed-mass-timber academic building that set a new benchmark for sustainable design in Canada. Visitors gained insight into the project's design process, fabrication, installation, and integration challenges. The Building Science Association of Ontario (BSAO) is excited to host the Canadian Conference on Building Science & Technology - CCBST 2027 as part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations.
Taking place in November 2027 in Toronto, Ontario, the conference will offer multi-stream technical programs for building science practitioners and researchers, an industry tradeshow with live product demonstrations, plus workshops and hands-on training.
